Complete Coverage

Every Community We Serve

From the Silver Valley to the Priest Lake corridor, we bring the same Owens Corning quality and HAAG-certified expertise to every job — no matter how small the town.

Coeur d'Alene Metro & Kootenai County

The core of our service area. Kootenai County is where Lakeview Roofing does the majority of our residential and commercial work — from new construction in Post Falls to storm repairs on Hayden Lake.

Coeur d'Alene Post Falls Hayden Hayden Lake Rathdrum Dalton Gardens Hauser Spirit Lake Athol Bayview

Priest River & Pend Oreille Corridor

Heading north from Spirit Lake toward Priest Lake, these communities see some of the heaviest snow loads in North Idaho. Metal roofing and proper snow-load engineering are critical here.

Priest River Ponderay Sandpoint Sagle

Silver Valley

The historic mining towns along I-90 from Cataldo to Mullan. Older homes, steep pitches, and harsh winters make regular roof maintenance essential. We serve the full Silver Valley corridor.

Cataldo Kingston Pinehurst Kellogg Smelterville Osburn Wallace Mullan

Benewah County & Southern Panhandle

South of Kootenai County toward the Palouse, these communities range from lakeside homes on Coeur d'Alene's south shore to agricultural properties near Moscow.

Why Local Matters

A North Idaho Roofer for North Idaho Homes

Small-town roofing isn't the same as metro-area roofing. Here's why choosing a local contractor matters — especially in the communities we serve.

Snow Load Expertise You Can't Fake

Silver Valley and Priest River communities get 60–100+ inches of snow annually. A Spokane contractor doesn't understand rated ground snow loads the way a Rathdrum-based crew does. We engineer every replacement system for your specific elevation and exposure.

Response Time in Remote Areas

When a storm hits Wallace or Mullan, you need someone who can be there fast — not someone who has to drive 90 minutes from Spokane. Our crews cover the full I-90 corridor and Highway 2 regularly, which means faster response when you need it most.

Permitting & Code Knowledge

Every county and city in North Idaho has different roofing requirements. We know the codes for Kootenai, Bonner, Shoshone, and Benewah counties — so your project passes inspection the first time, no matter where you live.

Common Questions

Service Area FAQ

Questions we hear from homeowners in our outlying service areas.

Do you really serve towns like Wallace, Mullan, and Kellogg?
Yes — we cover the entire Silver Valley from Cataldo to Mullan along I-90. These are smaller communities, but we treat every job with the same professionalism and quality materials as our Coeur d'Alene projects. Call (208) 661-1781 and we'll schedule an inspection at your convenience.
How far north do you go? Do you serve Priest Lake?
We regularly serve Priest River, Sandpoint, and the communities along Highway 2 and Highway 57. For properties at Priest Lake or other remote locations, give us a call — we evaluate on a case-by-case basis and almost always can accommodate.
Do you charge more for jobs in outlying areas?
No. Our pricing is based on the scope of work — roof size, pitch, materials, and complexity — not your zip code. A roof in Kellogg costs the same per square foot as a roof in Post Falls, all else being equal. We don't add mileage surcharges for North Idaho communities.
Can you handle insurance claims for storm damage in smaller towns?
Absolutely. Our HAAG-certified inspectors document damage with photos and detailed written reports regardless of location. We've supported insurance claims in every county we serve — Kootenai, Bonner, Shoshone, and Benewah. The inspection is always free.
What's the best roofing material for homes in the Silver Valley?
The Silver Valley's combination of heavy snow, steep terrain, and older housing stock makes material choice critical. We recommend standing seam metal roofing for its 50+ year lifespan and superior snow shedding. For homeowners on a budget, Class 4 impact-resistant architectural shingles are a strong alternative — especially with Owens Corning's extended warranty options. We'll assess your specific roof and give you honest recommendations at your free estimate.
